This summer has been the best summer I've had in years. I can't believe it's already the middle of August. This is me fishing at Kootenay lake, gorgeous lake it is.... AND i caught a fish!

My 2 best buds came to visit me last week with a forecast of rain we had a day where the sun prevailed. We made our way to the river with a picnic lunch and found a cozy nook to settle in. We sat and drank beers with only the river and mountains as neighbors and the sun stayed on us for hours. I gotta say it was one of the greatest days I've had here. Conrad and Sarah you cats are the best. xo

Headin to Edmonton

These gals are on their way to a cute lil' boutique hair salon called Ponytails and Horseshoes. They carry a few different local designers as well as Toms shoes. They have had my earrings in the salon for over a year now and were happy to keep them in even though I was moving away-- which I think is top-notch! So now I send them new stock every month or so......

SPRING! in Revelstoke

Flowers already up in our yard. This means a lot to an Alberta girl in March (ya,ya it's April now but they were up last week).
I do not miss Edmonton winters in the least. I can't believe I didn't get out of there sooner....really.
